Dear readers,
We are pleased to inaugurate NWR’s new Book Symposium section with a symposium on James R. Shaw’s Wittgenstein on Rules. The section aims to provide a platform for in-depth discussions of recent books on Wittgensteinian themes. Our first symposium is edited by Sorin Bangu, and includes contributions by James R. Shaw, Oskari Kuusela, Alex Miller, and Hannah Ginsborg. It is pre-published for Open Review until 2025-11-06.
In addition, we are publishing the following book reviews:

Book Symposium section
The section aims to provide a platform for in-depth discussions of recent books on Wittgensteinian themes. The format of a symposium is typically that the author writes a Précis of the book, the commentators provide their interventions, and then the author replies to each commentator. Suggestions for future book symposia can be sent to the editors.
